Reading recipes can be confusing sometimes. They can be filled with jargon that gets learnt from years of watching baking shows on the TV and reading cookery books.
My aim with this blog is to keep recipes simple and easy to understand. I want to encourage people to bake, not scare them away. Some baking terms are so engrained in me, so I’m going to start collecting these in one place.
This is by no means a comprehensive list and I promise to add to it as time goes on. I’m still learning myself.
